Group swim lessons are an effective and economical way to teach children of all ages and skill levels. Our professional instructors use age-appropriate, flexible exercises to challenge each student at their level.
Our group lessons are divided by age and skill level. Each age group has beginner/intermediate and intermediate/advanced classes to ensure every child is challenged appropriately.
Lil Swimmers – Join your little one in this parent-child class, where an instructor will guide up to 6 pairs through essential swimming skills, fostering a love for swimming.
Pre-School – Pre-School lessons for 3 and 4 year olds focus on water safety and basic swim skills. We teach kicking, floating on their back, putting eyes in the water, proper body position, and other foundational skills before progressing to more advanced techniques and longer distances.
School Age – School age classes for 5-8 year olds cater to all skill levels. Beginners cover foundational skills similar to Pre-School lessons but in an age-appropriate manner. Intermediate students develop their freestyle, elementary backstroke, and backstroke. Advanced students refine their skills and build endurance for longer distances.
Club Swim – Club Swim is our highest-level class, held in our lap pool. Students must be able to freestyle 12 yards to join. We focus on building endurance, learning strokes like breaststroke and butterfly, and practicing skills such as diving starts, flip turns, and surface dives. The curriculum varies based on the interests and goals of the students and their parents. While not a competitive class, it’s ideal for kids serious about swimming.
Our private lessons are available in 1-on-1 or 2-on-1 formats. Instructors tailor the lessons to meet your and your child’s goals, whether it’s learning to swim for the first time or refining strokes.
Adult private swim lessons are available at Mountain Park. Our excellent instructors can help you meet your swim goals, whether that is learning to swim for the first time, refreshing rusty skills, or improving your swim workout. We have weekday and weekend class options with flexible scheduling to work with your needs.
