MOUNTAIN PARK ICE CREAM SOCIAL

Grab your family and join us for some ice cream and entertainment from 1:00pm-3:00pm under the Clubhouse walkway! The Mobile Scoop Shop will have Tillamook Ice Cream and Italian Ice to cool you off. Prepare to laugh as BJ the Clown puts on a show for the kids from 1:30pm-2:30pm.

Tickets are required to receive ice cream and will be available in August. Pick them up at the Clubhouse Front Desk. Member tickets are free. Non-Member tickets are $5.00.

AQUATICS & KIDZONE


KIDZONE SUMMER CAMP 2019

The summer is on its way and KidZone is ready! Summer Camp will run June 10-August 23. Daily and weekly registration is available and registration will open April 15th. Forms can be found at www.mtparkhoa.com/kidzone.

The theme this year is Adventure Awaits. We will be exploring the different worlds of your kids favorite movies, books, and characters. Click on the brochure below to see all the fun we have to offer this year!

LANDSCAPE


INVASIVE SPECIES REMOVAL & COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT PARTY

Third Saturday of Every Month
9:00am-12:00pm (unless otherwise noted)

If you are able to volunteer your time, please meet the Landscape Stewards at the Clubhouse by 9:00am. Bring heavy duty work gloves, sturdy footwear, and your favorite hand tool. Hand pruners and Hori Hori towels will be supplied. Some light refreshments will be provided for our volunteers.

SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS

Do you have a special talent you would like to share with other people? Are you interested in starting a Special Interest Group in the Mountain Park Clubhouse? We are looking for Mountain Park members who would like to help us in creating an environment in which Mountain Park neighbors can get to know each other while sharing a common interest. Some suggestions might be book clubs, knitting groups, scrapbooking, board game nights, and more!

TOASTMASTERS
Join them every Monday at 6:45pm at the Clubhouse for a Toastmasters Meeting. The mission of a Toastmaster Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.

MORNING MEDITATION TO MUSIC
Join us for unguided meditation to music. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with us before and after. Meet in Lupine Room. If you would like to participate, feel free to join a morning session. If you would like more information, please contact Lois at 503-636-0987.

BOOK CLUB
Please join us for our monthly Book Club meetings in the Clubhouse Lupine Room.  Our next meeting is July 16 from 1:30pm-3:00pm. All subsequent meeting are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Register to join the Book Club group at the front desk. Member and non-members are welcome.

MEDICARE 101
Join NAIFA and WIFS board member Kate Beck as she helps guide you in the process of navigating Medicare 101. The workshops are open to both Mt Park members and non-members on the 3rd Monday of each month from August through December at 4:30pm in the Clubhouse. Register to join the Medicare 101 workshop at the Clubhouse front desk! The first workshop is August 19.

MOUNTAIN CRAFTERS
A group for people who handcraft to get together, work on individual projects and socialize. Bring your own craft to work on and get to know your neighbors. Possibilities include knitting, hand quilting/piecing, water color painting, crochet, card making, hand embroidery, scrap-booking or beading. A time to relax, chat, drink tea and keep your hands busy with your chosen activity.
