Jefferson Parkway Construction Closure Shifts East Next Week

Thank you for your patience and support as Jefferson Parkway pavement rehabilitation continues. Next week the work area will shift east; see details below. Watch for signage changes and plan to use alternate routes.

Construction schedules are always subject to change due to weather, availability of crews, materials or equipment, and other variables.

Starting next week: Spinosa to Abelard closure

The work zone will shift east, with a closure from Spinosa to Abelard Street.

  • Neighbors who live on Spinosa, Mountain View Lane, and Creekside Terrace will have access to a segment of Jefferson Parkway from the direction of Westlake and Kingsgate.
  • Neighbors who live on Abelard will have access to a segment of Jefferson Parkway from the direction of Kerr Parkway. (Also, Abelard will remain reachable via Kingsgate and Aquinas.)
  • The western intersection of Cervantes and Jefferson Parkway will be closed. The eastern intersection, nearest Kerr Parkway, will remain open.

Caution!

Pavement grinding will make the road unsafe and unfit for travel within the closure during all hours. Follow all traffic-control signage and avoid active construction areas, for the safety of all.
