Where fun and fitness meet.
KidZone is dedicated to providing quality wellness programs to youth of all ages. We strive to help children explore the world in a safe environment and grow as happy and healthy individuals through physical activities and creative play with quality coaches and staff.
The goal of the Mt. Park KidZone Sports department is to offer children a variety of ways to stay active and healthy. We strive to help children find fun and exciting ways to exercise, and to help encourage an active lifestyle throughout the rest of their lives.
Mt. Park Basketball (Ages 10-14)
Offered for both Beginner and Intermediate skill levels, these classes will help your young athlete develop proper techniques in all aspects of the game, introduce players to large game style concepts, and help them prepare for team and competitive league try-outs.
Fitness Fun (Ages 5-8)
KidZone Fitness Fun takes the excitement of PE and combines it with exercises to develop your child’s athleticism. In a fun and positive environment, kids will be introduced to soccer, basketball, lacrosse and more along with getting to play the fun games from their favorite class at school.
KidZone Yoga Class (Ages 2-5)
This playful class encourages self-expression as well as building social skills. Children will strengthen their bodies as they learn how to focus through breathing and relaxation techniques. The children sing, draw, and play games in this energy releasing class, bringing balance to your child’s life.
Tumble Time (Ages 3-5)
KidZone Tumbling classes are designed to develop strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and bodily awareness through tumbling activities, games, drills, and stretches. Classes are tailored for each individual so that students are continuously challenged in new ways, regardless of their experience level. Children will have fun and build confidence in a safe and active environment.
We want the youth of Mt. Park to feel that the Clubhouse is a place where they can hang out with friends and enjoy what Mt. Park has to offer. Our fun programs are geared to what children want to do in their spare time with friends, but without help from parents.
Kids’ Night Out! (Ages 3-12)
Drop the kiddos off at 5 PM for some fun in the pool or bounce house, as well as engage in themed craft projects and group games. Then we’ll meet upstairs in the Hawthorn Room to eat pizza and watch a movie. Parents are welcome to join us for the movie, or pick up at any time!
The goal of all of our camps is to expose children to a variety of activities that will help them explore the world in a new way. We do this by helping them build new social skills while interacting with other campers and creating a positive health and wellness environment that encourages exploration. During the campers time here they will gain great friends, priceless experiences and new skills.
Don’t miss our wildly fun seasonal camps! Children will spend time exploring the world through physical activities, craft projects, and team building games. Registration is available on a daily and weekly basis. All camp schedules follow Lake Oswego and Portland Public Schools calendars.
